Bakkt adds three new coins to New York trade offering

crypto-coins-new-york-state

At Bakkt, we recognize the Empire State is a crucial market for our clients and their customers. We have continued to prioritize expanding our capabilities within New York. Today, we are excited to announce that we have enhanced our trading solution within the state to include three new coins: Ethereum Classic (ETC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Dogecoin (DOGE).

This effort reflects our continued devotion to paving the way forward for a regulated, accessible crypto markets infrastructure in the US and abroad. We have added these additional assets through the self-certification process, ensuring that each one abides by the stringent standards set out in our NY Department of Financial Services approved Coin Listing Policy. We are confident these new listings will offer increased value to clients and customers.

Bakkt has a strong institutional-grade foundation that is bolstered by comprehensive licensing, including a New York Money Transmitter License and BitLicense, that allow us to provide clients with secure and compliant crypto services. ETC, SHIB, and DOGE complement the assets that have historically been offered to New York customers (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin) on the Bakkt platform.

We are excited to continue to enhance our Bakkt Trade offering with new capabilities, providing best-in-class, licensed and compliant crypto trading in New York and beyond.

Your partner in growth,
