Bakkt Appoints Meredith Spatz as Chief Client Officer

Meredith Spatz joined Bakkt as Chief Client Officer, overseeing customer success and relationship management for all our clients. In this newly created position, Meredith is leading a combined team responsible for partner management and relationship building across our large loyalty partners, platform partners and crypto partners.

Meredith was previously an EVP at Mastercard, where she managed the relationship with Citi, one of Mastercard’s largest customers, executing on strategies that leverage the assets of both organizations to deliver value to customers and grow faster together.
Meredith joined Mastercard in 2018, and over her time there had responsibility for product and innovation teams, digital enablement efforts, refreshing the product and risk management frameworks and advancing cross-border payments and technology strategies.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Meredith was at Citi, where she led Global Digital Payments. She also served as Chief of Staff for Citi’s Global Consumer Bank, leading cultural transformation and global strategy, planning and performance. Meredith also held several roles in Corporate and Consumer Banking domestically and internationally, including financial planning and analysis, retail branch management and branch operations.
Meredith has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University.
